My son's pre-school trip

Last week my son & I spent a lovely morning out with his pre-school at our local garden. We love it there & go quite often, but this was the first time we’ve been as part of a group, it was fun. We were all given buckets & a list of things to collect like pine cones, leaves, soft things, prickly things etc. it all had to be wind fall. We had quite a bit, although it was me that collected most of it, my little boy had his own ideas & spent most of the time off in the opposite direction. He’s a very strong willed little boy & when we had finished our collecting we set about making a ‘crown’, but he wasn’t really interested so I made it. I did enjoy it though. We haven’t been to the gardens for a while and there were a few new things to see. My favourite has to be the ‘elephant’ in the woods, I think it’s a old tree stump, although I couldn’t get up close it as I had my baby in the buggy. My son loves the carved owls and every time we go he says ‘let’s see the owls’. The robin was very accommodating, sitting down next to us on several occasions. The sand pit is one of my son’s favourite places, the castles were made by our guide not my son. Every time  I go to the garden it is different, either because of the weather or the company, there’s always something to see that I didn’t see the last time.
